OwnCloud is an enterprise-class online file sharing and cloud management system offered by ProScan Document Imaging. Large Format Scanning

ProScan Document Imaging use the latest technology and software for high quality large format scanning. We are one of the UK’s leading providers of large format scanning services and we produce digital copies of documents and other media at a premium level for our clients.

Our continuing investment in advanced hardware and software allows us to work with orders of any size of document or number of documents. We also offer Optical Character Recognition to read the contents of a document during scanning. This means the final digital file can be read as text which makes it easy to locate the information at a later date.

Large format scanning from ProScan Document Imaging digitises clients’ documents at sizes A3, A2, A1 and A0. We also offer custom scanning services for larger documents using specialised techniques and equipment.

Book Scanning

Individuals, charities and businesses across the UK rely on Proscan Document Imaging to carefully scan and digitise books, magazines, and other periodicals allowing the contents to be preserved for general recordkeeping and for future generations.

We use the very latest in book scanning technology to make sure all information is accurately captured and stored digitally either in the cloud or physically on removable media. We also offer page by page OCR book scanning. With this service, a PDF containing the text in your book is created during the scanning process meaning that you have both a file containing the text captured as well as fully digital copy of your book including front and back covers.

Secure Shredding

ProScan Document Imaging provides secure and confidential document destruction and disposal for businesses, charities and public sector organisations across the UK. We are able to shred and dispose of paper and card documents, computer storage items like CDs, disks and DVDs, as well as microfilm, aperture cards and microfiche.

Sensitive or important data requires a professionally managed shredding service. Here at ProScan Document Imaging, we are ISO certified and we manage the process from start to finish with expert care. We collect the documents from your premises before transporting it to a secure recycling centre where it is professionally destroyed and recycled.

After your documents have been securely shredded, we are able to provide you with a witness of destruction certificate.

Plan Printing

High-quality plan printing services and plan copying services from ProScan Document Imaging are competitively priced and offered to our clients with same-day turnaround.

We print architectural, construction, engineering, mechanical and electrical plans and drawings to any required size – A0, A1, A2, A3 or custom dimension documents, using top-of-the-range Canon scanning and printing equipment.

Our plan printing service is ideal for designers, architects, garden landscapers, electricians and more. Plans are printed on 90gsm bond paper as standard but we have a wide range of paper and presentation finishes available at your request.

We offer plan copying services where your original drawings are reproduced into crisp black and white, or full colour documents. We have software to make your drawings look brand new, erasing any tears, stains, crease marks or blemishes.

Microfilm Scanning

ProScan Document Imaging offers microfilm scanning, microfiche scanning, and aperture card scanning. This method of storing and retrieving information is no longer widely used yet vast libraries of books, prints, and records exist only in this format.

Microfilm scanning was one of the first services ProScan Document Imaging offered its customers. We have a small team of expert staff who will work on your project as well as state-of-the-art scanners which enables us to carefully digitise your microfilm, microfiche, and aperture card documents. We can convert microfilm, microfiche, and aperture cards into PDF, TIFF, JPEG, CSV, metadata XML, and a wide variety of other formats.

ProScan Document Imaging digitises 16mm microfilms, 35mm microfilms, and many of the less common sized microfilms including 3M cartridges. For our microfilm scanning services, microfiche scanning services and aperture card scanning services, we also use OCR technology to capture text which can then be embedded into a PDF for easy searching and retrieval later on.
