The DR-2050C is sleek and compact and will fit easily into your work place allowing for optimum use of available space.  Energy efficient with little warm up time.

Productivity

By scanning 20 pages per minute (A4, simplex, black and white, 200dp) and 38 pages per minute duplex, this scanner will manage your workload effectively and in colour if desired.  A3 scanning can be undertaken using the Folio function. By folding these documents in half and scanning each side one single image is produced.

Quality

Image quality is outstanding due to the high optical resolution of up to 600 dpi.  The CIS sensor and lens array mechanism ensure minimal distortion of images.

Reliability

Operator friendly this scanner is simple to set up and install with easy to navigate controls.  Canon’s retard roller mechanism ensures that document feeding and separation is streamlined without common problems such a double feeds.

Software

Software such as ISIS™/TWAIN drivers, Adobe® Acrobat® 7.0 and CapturePerfect are all available offering comprehensive scan and save functions.   PDF files can be created with the built-in OCR function.  This converts printed text into text data which can be searched using specific keywords. Scanned images can be sent via your current email set up using the “Scan Batch to Mail” function.
