A local manufacturing company based in Bournemouth have selected Proscan for a back scanning project of approximately 1.2 million documents.

The documents which are currently being stored in a warehouse where they are at risk of fire and water damage are expected to be scanned in batches over a period of 12 months.

PDF was chosen as the preferred format because of its ability to capture and preserve the complete visual presentation of the documents whilst still allowing for a full word search capability.
