We are so confident in our ability to produce the very highest quality images that we offer all potential clients the option of a free sample using their own documents. We strongly recommend that you insist on the same from any other potential suppliers that you may be considering.

During the preparation stage we remove all staples, unfold pages and generally do anything we can to ensure the safe handling of the documents as they pass through our high speed scanners.

Document scanning is carried out on our high speed Kodak scanners using the latest image capture software. Image enhancements such as cropping, de-skew and de-speckle can be performed during the document scanning stage and to further ensure the best possible scan result we also utilise Perfect Page technology. During the scanning process it is possible that 2 sheets of paper may be fed simultaneously in to the scanner. Our Kodak scanners all have ultrasonic double feed detection sensors which automatically stop the scanner if a double feed is detected. This process ensures that no pages are missed.

Indexing of the scanned images is essential to ensure that they can be easily searched for and retrieved. This can be as simple as a file name, or we can index multiple fields per document for use with either our CD based retrieval software or FilePlus for full document management capabilities. Of course if you already have a document management system in place then we can supply the indexing data in the format that best suits your requirements.

Quality checking is essential in ensuring that the scanned images are of the highest quality. Every stage of the scanning process is quality checked by a different operator and it is this rigorous process that ensures all of the documents have been scanned and the best possible images produced.

The release stage of our document scanning service involves the transfer of all images and data to a suitable storage medium. Currently we use either CD-R or DVD but we can upload your images to our ftp server if you require immediate access.
