ProScan Document Imaging are a leading provider of document scanning services in the UK. An important part of this service is our ability to offer our clients a confidential waste destruction and disposal service for their documents once all the scanned images are checked and approved.

•    Shredding and destruction of microfilm, microfiche and aperture cards.

We aim to provide a secure document destruction and disposal service that is tailored to meet the specific requirements of our customers. This service involves the collection of your scanned documents from our secure premises, which are then transported to a secure recycling centre.  The paper is then shredded before being baled, ready to be sent to the paper mills for recycling, where it is used in the manufacture of a wide variety of products from tissues to high quality paper. A witness of destruction certificate can be made available if required.

The service we provide strictly adheres to BSEN:15713 and is fully auditable:

•    Audit trails are kept, with serialised certification of destruction
•    All Shredding personnel are security screened
•    Materials are completely destroyed to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998
•    All documents are destroyed within 24 hours of collection.

Under the 1998 Data Protection Act, the confidential and secure destruction of any data, which could identify a living individual is a legal requirement. Our service has been designed with this in mind and is suitable for shredding secret documents and more sensitive information.
