Canon’s MS300II is an efficient and practical desktop digital microfilm scanner.  It offers sensibly priced microfilm scanning with the opportunity to build your microfilm archives into a fully functioning document management system.  With the ability to scan 16/35 mm roll film, ANSI/3M, cartridges, aperture cards and fiche/jackets it’s offers superior microfilm storage and an extensive computer database.

Quality and Productivity

Conversion of your microfilm to digital format is swift and straight forward when using the MS300II: 5.5 seconds per frame at 200 dpi, 7.5 seconds at 300 dpi, and 10 seconds at 400 dpi and 16 seconds at 600dpi.

Superior images can be produced with an optical resolution setting of 600 dpi. However the MS300II offers various output resolutions subject to your document scanning requirements these include - 200/300/400/600 dpi. In addition 8-bit greyscale scanning is at hand to ensure equally pleasing results for your analog archive scanning.

Simple Operation

The A4 screen allows you to easily view and work with your documents.  Complex detail and fine print can be examined in minute detail by using the manual focus and zoom functions. Canon’s renowned CapturePerfect powerful scanning facility is also included and provides such capabilities as “Scan Batch to Mail”.

By simply pushing the Start button in the reader/printer mode microfiche data can be directly transferred to a network printer for hard copy output in either A4 or A3 size.

Efficiency

Running costs are reduced by using the power save mode. The MS300II can be set to switch OFF automatically – either after 15 minutes or one hour of the unit being idle.  However, operation is automatically restored once the scanner is operated again.
